Young Motorcyclist Dies After Losing Control and Crashing into Guardrail

Chachoengsao: A young man speeding on a motorcycle lost control on a curve, crashed into a roadside guardrail, and died instantly. A 24-year-old man was speeding down a bridge on a curve when he lost control, crashed into a roadside guardrail, and was thrown across to the other side of the road, dying instantly.

According to Thai News Agency, early this morning, Chachoengsao City Police received a report of a motorcycle losing control on a curve on Mahachakraphat Road, Na Mueang Subdistrict, Mueang District, Chachoengsao Province. They then coordinated with the on-duty medical staff from Phutthasothon Hospital and Chachoengsao rescue workers.

At the scene, the body of a deceased male was found, later identified as Mr. Thanapat, 24 years old. A blue motorcycle with Bangkok license plates was found near the body, damaged in the condition of the vehicle. A review of CCTV footage from the area revealed that the deceased was riding the motorcycle down from the bridge over the Bang Pakong River when he lost control on a curve, crashed into the roadside guardrail, and was thrown to the other side of the road where he died.

The on-duty medical staff at Phutthasothon Hospital are preparing to take the deceased's body for another X-ray because they found a hole in the left rib cage area. It is unclear whether it was caused by a bolt from the roadside barrier or by another cause.
