Heavy Rainfall Hits Bangkok with 88 mm Recorded in Pathum Wan

Bangkok: Rain fell in Bangkok, with the highest rainfall recorded in Pathum Wan district at 88 millimeters. The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration's Drainage Department noted these rainfall measurements at 3:30 PM.

According to Thai News Agency, light to moderate rain was observed across Bangkok, particularly in the Thung Khru district and areas on the upper Thonburi side. The rain extended to the Phra Nakhon side, affecting regions such as Bang Khae, Nong Khaem, Chom Thong, Taling Chan, Bangkok Noi, Bang Phlat, Dusit, Wang Thonglang, Bang Kapi, and Huai Khwang. This weather pattern is expected to remain stable as the rain moves westward.

The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration forecasts a 60% chance of thunderstorms and heavy rain in some areas on May 31, 2026. Temperatures are predicted to range from a minimum of 25-28 degrees Celsius to a maximum of 34-37 degrees Celsius.
