According to Thai News Agency, Manchester United will receive a total of £50 million from Napoli for this deal. This sum includes a £6 million loan fee paid last summer and a further £44 million mandatory purchase clause, activated upon Napoli's qualification for the 2026/27 UEFA Champions League. As a result, H¸ylund's status as a Manchester United player has officially ended.
Manchester United had initially signed Rasmus H¸ylund from Atalanta in 2023 for a fee plus add-ons amounting to £72 million. With this transfer, H¸ylund transitions to a new chapter in his career with Napoli.
