Cobra Gold 2025 Amphibious Exercise Showcases Military Coordination Among Four Nations

Chonburi: Thailand-US conduct amphibious exercise Cobra Gold 2025, showcasing military power, jointly operating with allied forces in Chonburi Province. During this period, Thailand and the United States have been practicing amphibious operations in the Cobra Gold 2025 joint/combined exercise at the Naval Training Ground No. 15 (Had Yao), Sattahip District, Chonburi Province. The main mission is to seize the enemy's beachhead area by using all naval forces and amphibious forces. It starts with bombarding the beachhead with naval artillery, aircraft, and close air support to limit the enemy's firepower. After that, the amphibious forces will seize the beachhead and continue the strategy of advancing into the enemy's territory, while establishing the beachhead to be safe for the combat forces.

According to Thai News Agency, for the amphibious operation held today, it is an amphibious assault of the combined naval forces along with the combined marine forces from four participating nations: Thailand, the United States, the Republic of Korea, and the Republic of Singapore. The situation is set for an amphibious operation, establishing a beachhead, and strengthening combat forces ashore to support the mission of evacuating civilians from conflict areas. This is to enhance combat readiness and develop military capabilities, as well as demonstrate military power in joint operations by allied armies to ensure that the Thai army is combat ready in all dimensions, as well as to strengthen good relations between friendly countries and military cooperation that guarantees national security. On this occasion, Admiral Jirapol Vongwit, Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Navy, also visited the exercise.
