Drug Trafficking Network with 10 Million Baht Turnover Busted

Phatthalung: A drug trafficking network wanted on arrest warrants was apprehended after a sting operation resulted in the purchase of 100,000 methamphetamine pills. The operation revealed a money laundering network with a turnover exceeding 10 million baht.

According to Thai News Agency, the Anti-Human Trafficking Police, in collaboration with other units, arrested a drug trafficking network wanted on charges of conspiracy and distribution of Category 1 narcotics. Following a sting operation involving the purchase of 100,000 methamphetamine pills, the arrests revealed that the three suspects were the masterminds behind the operation, with over 10 million baht circulating within the network.

Authorities were able to track down and arrest the suspect in Phatthalung Province. He was then handed over to investigators at Ban Na Doem Police Station in Surat Thani Province for legal proceedings. However, during questioning, the suspect denied the charges.
