Hat yai: This year, many organizations in Hat Yai district are jointly organizing activities for National Children's Day 2026 to bring smiles and happiness to children after they faced major flooding in the past.
According to Thai News Agency, although only a month has passed since the devastating floods, and many families still have terrifying memories, today is a special day for children. Many organizations recognize the importance of this and continue to hold events for children to enjoy and forget the past. For example, at Sena Narong Camp in Hat Yai District, Songkhla Province, the soldiers displayed military equipment to educate and inspire the children, creating a sense of wonder. Parents brought their children from early morning. This year, many children prayed that Hat Yai would not be flooded again as a Children's Day gift.
Today in Hat Yai district, kind-hearted individuals organized events to bring happiness to children in several areas, including Prince of Songkla University, Air Force Base 56, leading shopping malls, and the Hat Yai City Municipality in collaboration with flood-affected agencies. Events were held at public parks, and neighboring municipalities also participated.
