Koh phangan: The Prime Minister led a team to Koh Phangan and Freedom Beach to follow up on solutions to problems involving foreign nominees and encroachment on public land. Reporters reported that at 11:00 AM today at Military Airport 2, Wing 6, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul led a delegation including Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Suchart Chomklin, Deputy Minister of Transport Sanpetch Bunyamanee, and Deputy Ministers of Interior Jetseth Thaiseth and Worasit Liengprasit to Koh Phangan, Surat Thani Province, to follow up on the resolution of issues related to foreigners conducting business through nominees.
According to Thai News Agency, the first stop will be Koh Phangan Suksa School, where the Prime Minister will receive a report on the situation in the area from the District Chief of Koh Phangan. The Governor of Surat Thani Province will then welcome him, and representatives from the public will present issues and areas requiring government support. Following this, the Prime Minister will meet with the public and deliver policy directives to local government agencies.
Later in the evening, the Prime Minister will travel to Freedom Beach in Patong Subdistrict, Kathu District, Phuket Province, to inspect the arrests for encroachment on public beach areas. He will be welcomed by the Governor of Phuket, the Director of the Phuket Forestry Center who will report on the problems in the area, the Deputy Governor of Phuket who will report on the support provided in resolving the issues, and the Commander of the Phuket Provincial Police who will report on the progress of the cases. Following this, the Prime Minister will meet with the public and deliver policy directives to local government agencies.
Upon completion of his duties in both provinces, the Prime Minister will return to Bangkok at approximately 8:40 PM.
