Social Media Celebrity “Suea Dusit” Allegedly Assaults Man Leaving Him in Critical Condition

Nonthaburi: "Suea Dusit," a social media celebrity, and his gang have been accused of brutally assaulting a 53-year-old man, leaving him with severe injuries including broken ribs and a punctured lung. The victim, Mr. Thanapol, is currently in a coma. His daughter, Ms. Pemika, is determined to pursue legal action against the celebrity and his associates, despite their status.

According to Thai News Agency, CCTV footage from inside a restaurant captured the moment "Suea Dusit" and two of his subordinates attacked Mr. Thanapol without any prior confrontation. The footage shows Suea Dusit instructing others to remain uninvolved, claiming the assault was retaliatory for Mr. Thanapol allegedly grabbing his wife's buttocks-an accusation Mr. Thanapol's acquaintances deny.

Ms. Pemika, along with her lawyer, sought assistance from Mr. Parames Chaiyapatcharakulapong, also known as "Dr. Kaew," before filing a police report at Rattanathibeth Police Station. She alleges that her father sustained 12 broken ribs and a punctured lung due to the assault, which occurred at around 4:30 AM near a restroom in a popular restaurant in the Sanam Bin Nam area.

According to Mr. Jirasak, an employee of Mr. Thanapol and a witness to the incident, the altercation began after a minor argument involving Mr. Thanapol and a woman accompanying Suea Dusit. The woman, who seemed to know Mr. Thanapol, greeted him, which led to a jealous reaction from Suea Dusit. Despite no prior conflicts between the two groups, Suea Dusit and his subordinates later attacked Mr. Thanapol near the restroom.

Ms. Pemika described her father's condition as critical, with him currently in a coma in the ICU and reliant on a ventilator. She expressed disbelief over the allegations against her father, asserting that he has never been involved in any altercations before. She remains resolute in seeking justice, emphasizing that celebrity status should not exempt anyone from the law.

Pol. Col. Phrut Chamroonsat, the superintendent of Rattanathibet Police Station, stated that officers have begun questioning those involved and are awaiting medical reports. Arrest warrants are being processed, and he assured that justice will be served.
