Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Pay Respects to Narasimha Deity at Government House

Bangkok: The Prime Minister arrived at Government House, accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Ekniti Nitithanpraphas, to pay respects to a replica of the Narasimha deity as part of a traditional practice.

According to Thai News Agency, the Prime Minister began his official duties at 9:05 AM. During the visit, both the Prime Minister and Ekniti participated in the customary act of paying respects to the deity's replica. This practice is a routine part of their arrival at the Government House.

It is anticipated that Mr. Ekniti will provide an update on the overall situation before the Prime Minister chairs the inaugural meeting of the National Committee for the Preparation of the 2026 Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors of the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund, designated as meeting 1/2026.

Before presiding over the government and Ministry of Interior policy briefing for village headmen and community leaders, the Prime Minister shared a meal with organizers, village headmen, and community leaders in the central hall of the Santi Maitri Building.
