Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul Visits Phetchabun for Cultural Tourism Initiatives

Phetchabun: The Prime Minister flew to Phetchabun to follow up on the development of archaeological sites and historical tourist attractions. Anutin Charnvirakul and his wife flew to Phetchabun to visit the Si Thep Historical Park and open the Hug Bang Fai Phu Toey festival, aiming to stimulate local cultural tourism.

According to Thai News Agency, Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul, who is also the Minister of Interior, along with his wife Mrs. Thanon Charnvirakul, Minister of Public Health Pattana Promphat, and Deputy Prime Minister's Spokesperson Lalida Periswiwatana, traveled to Phetchabun Province by Royal Thai Police helicopter. They visited the Si Thep Historical Park in Si Thep District, Phetchabun Province, and the Khao Klang Nok ancient site. The officials also presided over the opening ceremony of the 2026 'Hak Bang Fai Phu Toey' (Firework Festival of Phu Toey) in Wichian Buri District. The purpose of the visit was to monitor the development of historical sites and tourist attractions, participate in an important local tradition reflecting the identity, culture, and cooperation of the community, and promote tourism and stimulate the local economy.
