Investigations Region 2, in collaboration with the Department of Special Investigation (DSI) and Pattaya police, raided an Indian pub in the middle of Walking Street in Pattaya, finding it operating without a license.

According to Thai News Agency, at 3:00 AM on June 1st, police from Provincial Police Region 2, along with officers from the Department of Special Investigation (DSI), Pattaya City Police, Provincial Investigation Division 2, and other relevant agencies, inspected an Indian-style pub located on Walking Street in Pattaya, Bang Lamung District, Chonburi Province. This operation was part of a crackdown on entertainment venues and included investigations into violations related to foreign labor and operating an unlicensed establishment.

During the raid, officers found a large number of foreign tourists inside the shop, mostly Indians, as well as a Thai female tourist. They also separately checked the staff, finding that several were Indian nationals. Initial checks revealed they possessed valid work permits.

Additionally, five foreign women were found dancing on stage inside the club: one from Uzbekistan, three from Russia, and one from Georgia. They were taken in for detailed verification of their employment documents.

If further offenses are discovered, additional charges will be filed later.
