Flying Bangkok Promotes Robotic Dinosaurs and Matchmaking Markets in Siam

Bangkok: "Flying Bangkok" made a notable venture into Siam Square, promoting innovative ideas such as robotic dinosaurs and a matchmaking market, as part of their campaign for the Bangkok gubernatorial election. Fans eagerly lined up for photos with "Tae 007" and "Nong Phasapong," who were advocating for candidate number 7.

According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Mongkolkitt Suksintharanon, also known as "Tae 007," chairman of the "Bangkok Can Fly" group, was accompanied by Mr. Pasapong Chaiwirinwanich, the candidate for Bangkok Governor, along with Mr. Wiwat Charoenpanichsiri, Ms. Phakorn Chantharakana, and the rest of the "Bangkok Can Fly" team. They engaged with the public and fans at Siam Square, where a large number of people, particularly teenagers and students, gathered to take photos and create content with the team throughout the afternoon and evening.

Mr. Phasapong highlighted that the public holiday provided an excellent opportunity for public engagement, particularly with young people who expressed a desire for new attractions in Bangkok. The group's key policy includes installing "robot dinosaurs" in public areas to create innovative learning resources and tourist attractions.

Additionally, the group proposed the concept of "mobile dating markets" in all 50 districts of Bangkok. These markets aim to provide spaces for singles to form relationships and enhance opportunities for social interactions. Until a permanent structure is established, these events will travel across districts to help reduce loneliness and encourage family formation.

Mr. Mongkolkitt shared that the "Dinosaur Robot" project was a focal point of interest during his interactions with the public. The project envisions using robotic technology to create lifelike dinosaurs in public parks, such as Lumpini Park and Chatuchak Park. The robots will be able to perform various activities and will be complemented by CCTV cameras and security equipment to ensure safety. The development of "Dino Park" on 40-50 rai of land is also planned, aiming to create a world-class tourist landmark to attract global visitors and generate revenue for Bangkok, which will be used to enhance public welfare.

Furthermore, Mr. Mongkolkitt discussed the "Gulf of Thailand Pearl Necklace" project, focusing on land reclamation in Bang Khun Thian to combat coastal erosion and rising sea levels. This initiative includes constructing artificial islands and seawalls to safeguard vital areas without relocating the capital.

The Bangkok Air team assured that they will continue their campaign efforts until the election day. They encourage the public to follow their policies and support their candidate for Bangkok Governor, number 7, believing in their capability to implement their plans if given the trust of Bangkok's citizens.
