Rangsiman Rome Targets Prime Minister in Fiery Debate Over Alleged Deals

Bangkok: "Rome" intensely for over an hour, targeting "the big boss", wondering if "PM Paethongtarn" made a deal with the devil to bring her father back home or not, challenging him to answer the question himself as the most eyewitness to the event. In the House of Representatives meeting, special agenda, the motion to open a general debate to vote no confidence in individual ministers, with Mr. Pichet Chueamuangphan, First Deputy Speaker of the House, acting as the chairman of the meeting.

According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Rangsiman Rome, MP for the party list and deputy leader of the Prachachon Party, stood up to debate on the topic of the 14th floor for almost 2 hours, saying that he had important evidence that could confirm how the 14th floor case was a world-class case. The evidence was none other than Ms. Paethongtarn Shinawatra, the Prime Minister, who was the person closest to the big boss more than anyone else in this meeting room. The Prime Minister was the witness who confirmed the whole truth. At first, he was just a witness, but later the Prime Minister became a key figure in committing offenses against the country's laws, which had severe penalties, and ultimately, he was disqualified from being the Prime Minister.

Mr. Rangsiman said that he would like to go back to August 22, 2023, the day the big boss returned home. Can the Prime Minister explain how the big boss is? Because we must not forget that the person who gave birth to the Prime Minister is 74 years old and has a chance of getting sick. But when he opened the video clip of the Prime Minister's interview on August 20, 2023, it was stated that his father had a health check-up twice a year. Before saying that the Prime Minister's words were a confirmation that before the big boss returned, this big boss was definitely healthy. If there were any health problems, he was confident that the Prime Minister would use this opportunity to communicate with society.

Mr. Rangsiman asked what made the big boss have to go under the knife and be treated at the Police Hospital for 180 days. There must be some factor that suddenly made a healthy person receive good care in Dubai, like Sultan suddenly fell ill like this. Is it possible that the illness occurred during the time the big boss traveled?

Mr. Rangsiman stated that the only point that is most likely is that something must have happened in the prison. This is not impossible. We must not forget that on the day the big boss returned to Thailand, the person who was the prime minister at that time, General Prayut Chan-o-cha, the former leader of the coup, and Mr. Settha Thavisin had not yet started their duties.

'Gen Prayut seized power from Thaksin's sister and said many damaging things. Sometimes, when he heard Thaksin's name, he would get angry and walk away from the podium. Furthermore, the reason why we can't call Pol. Lt. Col. as a title for Thaksin anymore is because of Gen Prayut. We must not forget that at that time, the person in charge of the Ministry of Justice was not named Somsak Thepsuthin because he resigned to join the Pheu Thai Party. As a result, the person acting in the Ministry of Justice at that time was named Wisanu Krea-ngam, who had been Gen Prayut's legal bureaucrat all along,' said Mr Rangsiman.

Mr. Rangsiman continued that he did not think it was strange, even when his own sister was the prime minister, she could not return. Was it because of the deal that Ms. Paethongtarn had made? Was it because of the Langkawi deal? Was there any big name involved? That made the big boss confident that she would be able to return to Thailand this time? In addition, Ms. Paethongtarn's role, even though she was not the party leader that day, was a prime minister candidate and the head of the Pheu Thai Party family, playing an important role in campaigning for her own party. When she came out to support the approach of forming a coalition government with the political parties that supported Gen. Prayut to form a cross-party government, on the day she returned, the big boss still had people waiting to welcome her as if she was the prime minister who had just finished his mission abroad. When he returned, he was not detained. The police went to welcome him and helped to smooth everything out.

This caused Mr. Sattra Sripan, MP for Songkhla from the Ruam Thai Sang Chart Party, to protest, asking people not to mention outsiders or the meeting would not go smoothly. Mr. Rangsiman therefore objected that the name was necessary. He did not block any information. He insisted that everything would be based on information and that nothing was added.

Mr. Pichet therefore ruled that he should try to avoid Mr. Rangsiman using the word 'masked'. At this point, Dr. Srinyada Palimaphun, a party-list MP from the Pheu Thai Party, also joined the protest, saying that he should not be sarcastic and should not make people feel that they are inferior as humans.

Mr. Rangsiman continued his debate that the two masked men were kind enough to reduce, exchange, give away, and even give Ms. Paengtarn's father out of prison so he could receive treatment at the Police General Hospital. Everything they had promised the people was a lie and meaningless anymore because today, her father had returned home. This was a deal to exchange for the country that the Prime Minister colluded to make happen in order to help his father avoid spending even a single day in prison. The starting point of the 14th floor was therefore a devilish deal to bring her father back home.

Mr. Rangsiman said that the plan he had prepared was a plan where the former prime minister would not spend even a single day in prison. However, he had secretly found out that Ms. Paethongtarn knew that the big boss would have another year left in his prison sentence on the night he returned to Thailand. If he had known longer in advance, all the preparations would have been better. The acting would have been more realistic. There was no need to sell clothes to save face like this. After that, the Department of Corrections made a big announcement that Mr. Thaksin had been found to have 4 diseases: ischemic heart disease, abnormal lungs, high blood pressure, and degenerative spine, which put him in a vulnerable group. This announcement was suspicious because from what Ms. Paethongtarn had given an interview, why did it go in such a different direction when it was only 2 days apart?

Then, Dr. Sriyada protested that the information was incomplete. Mr. Rangsiman is not a doctor and cannot diagnose diseases in this council. There is already a Personal Health Data Protection Act. Therefore, if health information is discussed, there is a chance that it will not be complete. Therefore, she would like the chairman to help control it.

This led Mr. Pichet to rule that it was an accusation. The public was listening, but Dr. Sriyada said that he understood but it was repetitive. He did not understand that there was no purpose in bringing it in. The patient mentioned had already recovered. Mr. Rangsiman then asked when he had recovered. Before Mr. Pichet immediately turned off Dr. Sriyada's microphone and interrupted, saying that it was an accusation. The public was at home considering it.

Later, Ms. Nuchnat Charuwongsathian, MP for Sisaket Province from the Pheu Thai Party, protested that Mr. Rangsiman liked to mention names unnecessarily. 'You mentioned the name of Prime Minister Thaksin, which made the people of Isan feel even more moved,' causing Mr. Pichet to turn off Ms. Nuchnat's microphone and decide that it was still on point, emphasizing that today we have very little time, so please respect the time of each side.

But Mr. Krumanit Sangphum, MP for Surin from the Pheu Thai Party, did not give in. He protested that Mr. Pichet was talking about time, which was not right. Last night, there were only 3 hours left. But Mr. Pichet said that it was not related. Yesterday was over, but today, all parties must keep time.

Mr. Rangsiman said that this case is no different from a prison escape, and the deal also includes the coup group and Ms. Paethongtarn requesting a royal pardon for each individual. According to the rules, the only people who can request a pardon are the prisoners themselves and their family members. However, Ms. Paethongtarn acted ungratefully by letting her father help her request a pardon.

At this point, Dr. Sriyada immediately stood up to protest, asking whether Mr. Rangsiman, as an MP, had ever read the ethics regulations. 'There must be compassion, sympathy, that if a daughter whose father is sick, comes to discuss the matter of the ambulance going too fast, where would there be? Doing this, the people at home are confused about whether we really want the patient to recover or not. You should have this. And using the word ungrateful, the use of words by the opposition, sometimes too violent, is called slander, and more importantly, it is spiteful. It is
