A young rider was angry after waiting a long time for his food and being skipped over an order, so he argued with a rice soup vendor, which escalated to physical violence, with both parties injured. The incident occurred at a rice porridge shop at the entrance of Soi Thesaban Bang Pu 70, Tambon Tai Ban Mai, Amphoe Mueang, Samut Prakan Province. Officers gave first aid to the two injured people, Ms. Charat, 46, the owner of the rice porridge shop, and Mr. Kriangsak, 42, the rider, who had a cut on his head, before sending them to Samut Prakan Hospital after a fight broke out over a delay in receiving food and skipping the queue. From inquiries, it was learned that before the incident, the rider had been waiting for a customer's order for almost 1 hour, so he went to ask the vendor. In addition, he saw that the shop had skipped the queue for a customer to let someone who came later go first, which led to an argument and the other rider exclaiming a curse, which made Ms. Charat's husband, the vendor, unhappy an d hit him with a ladle, but the other party dodged it in time, so he fought back and they fought chaotically until both parties were injured. After the incident, Mr. Kriangsak, the rider, filed a complaint against the other party, showing the wounds on his left finger and back to reporters. He said that he had been waiting since 5:13 p.m. and until 6:05 p.m. he still hadn't received his food, so he went to ask. The vendor said that they were doing it according to the queue, but he saw that the customers who ordered later had already received their food. The vendor snapped back at him, saying that he didn't understand what he was saying and not to make a scene. While he was walking to wait at the car, he said vulgar words. When he got to the car, the vendor's boyfriend hit him in the back with a spatula. They raised their hands to block him. Luckily, he was wearing a helmet, so he didn't hit his head. Then another woman ran up and grabbed his shirt, which led to a fight before another rider came to stop him. Source: Thai News Agency
