Mr. Pakornwut Udompipatsakul, Chairman of the Coordinating Committee of the Opposition Parties, talked about the preparations for the House of Representatives after the opening of the session. He said that the House of Representatives meeting on July 3 will consider the draft law that was urgently passed by the Cabinet. It is a draft law related to the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, 4 versions, which will not be debated much and the whole House will accept the principle. There will also be consideration of the draft law that the Senate members have amended to see if the House will confirm the draft of the MPs or agree with the amendments of the Senate. It is expected that there will be cons
ideration of the law that the MPs proposed in the previous session, such as the Land Code Act and the Fiscal Discipline Act.
Regarding the opposition’s work plan since the opening of the parliament, Mr. Pakornwut said that the Move Forward Party insists on adhering to the original point of being a proactive opposition. There are various proposals all the time and it does not work in the opposition only to topple the government. But it will present various issues that the government can use.
