Pol. Col. Thawee Sodsong, Minister of Justice, spoke about the car bomb incident in front of the police officer’s flat at Bang Nang Sata Police Station in Yala Province, which resulted in the death of a teacher, saying that he had not yet received a report on the perpetrators, but he was informed by the commander of Provincial Police Region 9 that the process of identifying the individuals had been completed. Those involved were being taken in for questioning using martial law and the Emergency Decree, which would allow them to question them for seven days. When asked if it is still not possible to conclude whether the person who was called in for questioning is the perpetrator, Pol. Col. Thawee said that he would not conclude that, and would wait for the investigation first. The police have scientific evidence, and the deceased victim, a teacher at the Tadika School, was buying food to feed the students. This is considered a loss. All parties want this matter to be resolved.
As for the initial goal of the car bombing, Pol. Col. Thawee said that he did not investigate himself. The analysis is a feeling. The evidence team must analyze it.
