Nakhon Ratchasima Rajabhat University, ‘Kham’ reveals that the Cabinet has approved and approved the appointment of civil servants, political officials, chairman and additional board members.
Mr. Karom Polpornklang, Deputy Government Spokesperson, revealed that the Cabinet has approved/agreed on the appointments on July 2, 2024 as follows:
1. Appointment of the Chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission
The Cabinet resolved to approve the proposal of the Minister of Finance to appoint Mr. Wisit Wisitsora-at as the Chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission, as the original Chairman has completed his four-year term, effective from July 2, 2024 onwards.
2. Appointment of the Chairman and Members of the Higher Education Commission
The Cabinet resolved to approve the proposal of the Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation to appoint the Chairman and Members of the Higher Education Commission, a total of 10 people, because the Chairman and the original members had compl
eted their four-year terms on March 9, 2024, as follows:
1. Associate Professor Pradit Wannarat, Chairman
2. Mr. Issara Wongkusolkit, Member and former Chairman of the Council of Higher Education Institutions
3. Associate Professor Kittichai Trairattanasirichai, Member and former President of Higher Education Institutions

The Cabinet has resolved to approve the proposal of the Minister of Social Development and Human Security to appoint 5 civil servants unde

1. Mr. Kantapong Rangsrisawaeng, Director-General of the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, appointed as Director-General of the Department of Social Development and Welfare

4. Appointment of civil servants to high-level administrative positions (Ministry of Energy) The Cabinet has resolved to approve the proposal of the Minister of Energy to appoint 3 civil servants in the Ministry of Energy to high-level administrative positions for rotation as follows:
1. Ms. Nantika Thangsuphanich, Deputy Permanent Secretary, Office of the Permanent Secretary, holds the position of Director-General of the Department of Alternative Energy Development and Energy Conservation.
2. Mr. Wattanapong Kurovat, Director-General of the Department of Alternative Energy Development and Energy Conservation, holds the position of Director of the Office of Energy Policy and Planning
. 3. Mr. Veeraphat Kiatfueangfu, Director of the Office of Energy Policy and Planning, holds the position of Deputy Permanent Secretary, Office of the Permanent Secretary.
5. Appointment of civil servants to hold the position of Deputy Secretary-General to the Prime Minister for Administration (Senior Executive) (Offi
ce of the Prime Minister)
The Cabinet resolved to approve the transfer of Mr. Chayan Muangsong, Deputy Secretary-General of the Office of National Water Resources (Senior Executive), Office of National Water Resources, to hold the vacant position of Deputy Secretary-General to the Prime Minister for Administration (Senior Executive), Office of the Prime Minister, effective from the date of His Majesty the King’s gracious appointment onwards.
6. Appointment of political officials (Ministry of Commerce)
The Cabinet resolved to approve the appointment of 2 political officials as proposed by the Minister of Commerce, as follows:
1. Mr. Phalat Sirikulpisut holds the position of advisor to the Deputy Minister of Commerce (Mr. Suchart Chomklin)
2. Petty Officer 1st Class Yotsingh Liamlert holds the position of assistant secretary to the Minister of Commerce [Acting as secretary to the Deputy Minister of Commerce (Mr. Suchart Chomklin)]
7. Appointment of political officials (Ministry of Culture)
The Cabinet re
solved to approve the proposal of the Minister of Culture to appoint Mr. Wichian Suksoi as a political official in the position of Secretary to the Minister of Culture, effective from July 2, 2024 onwards.
